Join us on Wednesday, December 16th for the first ever TEDx event linking climate action to the tech industry. Signups are now open, and you can reserve your spot here.

ClimateAction.tech (CAT) is a global community of tech workers whose mission is to support and guide systemic change through employees, organizations, and industries to face the climate crisis. These talks will appeal to anyone who works in the tech industry, in any capacity, at any stage of their climate journey.

Climate change is one of the most pressing problems facing the world today; as technologists, we know that the greatest problems also offer the biggest opportunities. Our community has the opportunity to build real solutions to climate change, while also guiding an industry evolution toward sustainable design and green computing.

Our speakers for the event include:

The event will be moderated by Asim Hussein, Green Cloud Advocacy Lead at Microsoft, and Marketa Benisek, Climate Reality Leader trained by former US Vice President Al Gore and a Partnership Mana.ger at Footprint Digital

On Wednesday, 16 December we’ll kick things off with an introduction from @TedCountdown, followed by a lineup of seven amazing speakers from a range of backgrounds. Join us to hear from our expert speakers and meet members of the CAT community, to talk about the role the tech industry can play in fighting climate change.

Register for Wednesday’s TEDxCAT on EventBrite or via TED.com.
